ITW Industry offers the broadest range of engineered open web joists on the market, each with many benefits over conventional solid timber or I-joists.

FloorTrus is a timber open web joist system for floor and roof applications, fixed with nailplate in a similar way to roof trusses. This type of construction is market leader in the US (known as System 42) and is now becoming more widely used by pioneering manufacturers in the UK and Irish market thanks to it’s design flexibility, time saving features and environmental attributes.

The SpaceJoist open web joist system for floor and roof applications, comprising of timber chords with steel “V” webs and timber vertical webs. With the combination of the best features of an I-joist together with an open web construction, SpaceJoist delivers a quality product for maximum job site efficiency and overall cost effectiveness.

In addition to the FloorTrus system, ITW Industry also supports a pre-engineered trimmable timber open web floor system called “TrimTrus” - available in depths of 219 & 254mm and spans up to 5400mm.
