Trallex

The Trallex fastening system by ITW combines the benefits of fast pneumatic nailing with the removability of a screw. The fastener’s unique thread is developed to minimise damage to timber as it is driven. Once installed, the timber relaxes back round Trallex screw thread to provide a strong grip while retaining the option of removing and even re-inserting like a screw.

The Trallex fasteners are collated on the reliable, time proven Duo-Fast plastic coil in quantities of up to 325 fasteners per coil, allowing long intervals between re-loading. The fasteners are installed using the Duo-Fast CNP75 pneumatic tool. Tallex fasteners are available with a hollow point option which avoids splitting the timber when they are driven in. The fasteners come in a choice of Tx15 or Pozi drive recess heads, in sizes from 2.8 x 25mm to 3.2 x 75mm and are available electro galvanised or in stainless steel.

The small head make Trallex fasteners an ideal choice where a good aesthetic finish is required for applications such as decking and exterior cladding.
